Vaishnavi Sharma Meme-ified: Caught cursing on camera during the 4th T20I

The rookie cricketer smiles sheepishly, realising she had just cursed on screen. Fans laugh along.
India Women’s team clashed with Sri Lanka Women in the 4th T20I of the five-series match.
During the third ball of the 15th over while it was Sri Lanka’s turn to bat, Imesh Dulani swiped her bat for a quick single. Vaishnavi caught the ball and threw it back to the wicketkeeper but despite the fast reaction, the batter had already returned to the crease.
In this rapid-fire relay, Vaishnavi Sharma curses under her breath and then immediately realises that the cameras’ focus is on her, and she covers her mouth, turning the moment into quite a relatable reaction image.
As it was a genuinely human reaction, the crowd burst into laughter and Vaishnavi’s reaction went viral on social media, especially after India Women’s bagged the win in the 4th T20I.
Throughout the match, Vaishnavi was quick on her feet and deadly with the ball, scoring fantastic plays- taking 2 wickets for only 6 runs per over and thereby, bumping the team up to a 4-0 in the series.
Vaishnavi Sharma, 20 years old, is a spinner who came into spotlight following her spectacular performance in the ICC Women’s Under-19 T-20 World Cup. She is the first cricketer from Chambal to represent India for professional cricket in history. In international cricket, she claimed 17 wickets in 6 games in the course of Under-19 T-20 World Cup for India, against teams such as South Africa and England.
