RCB LOSE HOME GROUND, CHINNASWAMY, SET TO PLAY AT DY PATIL AND IN RAIPUR

Navi Mumbai and Raipur is going to be the house of RCB (Royal Challengers Bengaluru), due to last year stampede in Chinnaswamy stadium resultant into people lost there.

The 19th edition of the IPL, IPL 2026 is two and a half month away. This fan loved T20 leagues is going to begin on March 26th and shall end on May 31. After the wait of 18 years RCB, who won their first title in 2025 will be looking to retain the crown and defend it in there way. But there comes a bad news for the home fans the “Chinnaswamy Stadium” is not going to hold any matches in 2026.

Fans in the Bengaluru may not get to watch their favourite adopted son Virat Kohli in the IPL 2026. No its not because he is not coming to play or he is not paying ipl 2026. It’s due to the fact that RCB is not going to play at home. Why?

There will be no games at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium after the deadly stamped during the victory parade last year. As per the source quoted by TOI Navi Mumbai and Raipur the alternative options, were RCB shall play all the home games.

“RCB will play five matches in Navi Mumbai and two in Raipur during IPL 2026. The RCB officials have finalized the announcement recently after meeting with the concert,” official a source was quoted as saying by TOI.

The stadium has not host any international match since a fatal stamped outside the venue on 4 June 2025. The stampede took the lives of 11 people and left 50 injured. In the end Bangalore fans end up paying the price and could not see any home games of RCB in 2026. And in another word Kohli shall not going to play any single game at RCB’s home ground.
