TATA WPL 2026: Women’s Premier League teams player, squads, fixture & schedule all you need to know

TATA Women’s Premier League is set to start on 9 January 2026 on Friday at 6:00 PM. Start with Mumbai Indians Women’s taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore women in the opening game at DY Patil Stadium Navi Mumbai. The final of the season will take place on the 5th of February at the Baroda Cricket Associate Stadium at Vadodara.
There are five team taking part in the Women’s Premier League 2026 they are –
- Delhi Capitals Women
- Gujarat Giants Women,
- Mumbai Indians Women
- Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women
- UP Warriorz Women
The total number of matches will be played in the league is 20 the tournament in a double round Robin format. The first place team after the league stages was automatically for the second and third place teams will square off in the Eliminator March on the 3rd of February 2026. The winner of this match will go to play against the first place site in the final match on the 5th of February 2026. During this whole tournament, there are two hosting venues they are DY Patil Stadium Navi & Mumbai Baroda Cricket Association Stadium Vadodara.
In the last edition of WPL Mumbai Indians Women comes out as winner and the runner up was Delhi Capitals woman. With the orange cap winner, Mumbai Indians player Nat Sciver-Brunt with 523 runs and the top wicket taker also from the Mumbai Indians Emilia Kerr with 18 wickets.
