Marvel Studios to release a four-part trailer for awaited 2026 film ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ exactly a year ahead

The trailer is to release on 18th December, 2026 and follow up in the upcoming weeks in parts under a month-long hype campaign.

Hollywood Reporter states that Marvel is gearing up for an unconventional and ambitious four-part trailer release. Instead of a one-time hype, Marvel plans to tease its audience by releasing the “Avengers: Doomsday” trailer part by part, theatrically.

The trailers are said to have a runtime of 1 minute 25 seconds and are set to be released alongside ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’. This anticipation breaks a 17-year-old franchise record, previously held by Marvel itself.

The trailer is predicted to be filmed as different versions of an original, in keep with the multiverse theme as Robert Downey Jr. returns as Doctor Doom on Marvel screen. Each version is to run for a week in the theatres, before it changes to the next one in the following week.

This hype campaign goes on to support the ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ premiere on screen, thus getting Disney a double win, a two-birds-with-one-stone situation. Due to this supporting and simultaneous marketing campaign, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ is predicted to be viewed by millions.

The footage has been locked after verification by multiple screening boards. The buzz only intensifies for Marvel fanatics- can ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ meet up to their expectations?  There’s only less than a week to find out.
