After the success of ‘Theri’, Atlee-Vijay’s collaboration ‘Mersal’ was launched. Vijay performed three roles within the movie, Vetri, Maran and Vetrimaaran. Additionally Nithya Menon, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, S.J. Suriya, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu and Kowai Sarala had been taking part in the lead roles. The movie grossed over Rs 250 crore and was one of many highest grossing Tamil movies on the time.
GK Vishnu has carried out the cinematography for the movie composed by AR Raghuman. Because it has been 7 years for the reason that launch of ‘Mersal’, cinematographer GK Vishnu Leschi has shared a video. In it, “There aren’t any phrases to thank Atlee sir for trusting me and introducing me as a cinematographer with the movie ‘Mersal’. Mersal will at all times be a movie that holds a particular place in all of our hearts’, he stated.
GK Vishnu made his debut as a cinematographer with ‘Mersal’. His cinematography in that movie gave the viewers an incredible cinematic expertise. After that GK Vishnu turned Atlee’s favourite cinematographer. GK Vishnu did the cinematography for Atlee’s subsequent two movies ‘Bigil’ and ‘Jawan’.
