To extend the unbeaten run in WPL Smriti Mandhana side will now take on Ashleigh Gardner’s GG who are coming off a loss against Mumbai Indians after winning their first two matches against UPW & Delhi Capitals.

Players to watch out for Tonight – WPL 2026

Royal Challengers Bengaluru – Grace Harris

RCB’s love for power hitter is never ending story of the WPL seasons even in this one . The ability of Grace Harris at the top order has perfectly working so far for RCB in the opening game against MI she provided a quick start 25 off 12 striking at 208.33. Following with a Match winning score of 85 of 40 balls against UPW striking at a magnificent strike rate of 212.50. Bagging the player of the match award as RCB chased down 144 in just 12.10 was with nine wicket in the hands.

This player has been striking the bowlers against her bat with our own rules. Harris attacking the power play giving up fast and a powerpack start to RCB – her role looks clearly defined.

Gujarat Giants – Kanika Ahuja

Kanika Ahuja is known for her all-round ability and has already made a strong mark in domestic cricket. However, GG are yet to bowl her this season, and her batting position has also remained uncertain. Against UPW, she did not get a chance to bat, while against DC, she came in at number eight, which appeared too low for a batter of her ability.

In the last match she upgraded to the number three replacing Anushka Sharma in MI match paved off. She looked fluent confident and scoring 35 runs off 18 balls at a strike rate of 195 194.44. Despite Sophie Devine has lost her wicket early Kanaka ensured the run rate stay high and along with Beth Mooney GG finished the power play at a healthy run rate of 10.30.

We feels if GG back her at number three position, she’s going to be a key player for the middle order. Interestingly she’s a former RCB player playing 15 match for them in two WPL season so against her former team Kanika would love to come up with a statement performances like several players have already done this season for example Grace Harris against UPW, Laura Wolvaardt. This is going to be a nail biting clash for a former player against their former team.
