PVR INOX to launch David Dhawan’s hits to have a good time his cinema legacy
New Delhi: For nearly a decade, filmmaker David Dhawan redefined the mainstream Hindi cinema with hit comedies reminiscent of ‘Raja Babu’, ‘Aankhen’ and ‘Companion’. Now, a few of his largest hits are set to be re-released by PVR INOX to have a good time the filmmaker’s legacy.
The movie pageant has been curated to honour his legacy forward of the discharge of his newest movie, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. Dhawan, with Govinda and Salman Khan, was the artistic drive behind a number of the most iconic entertainers of the Nineteen Nineties.
An FTII graduate, he has had a profession spanning over 40 years marked by a particular filmmaking type that blended comedy and household dramas. “At PVR INOX, we strongly consider within the enduring energy of the theatrical expertise and in celebrating filmmakers whose work has formed India’s collective moviegoing tradition.
