‘I’m relieved’: Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrates the tip of Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan’

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan will seem collectively on ‘Koffee With Karan’ for the primary time in 16 years when episode 4 of the present’s ninth and remaining season streams on ‘JioHotstar’. The newly launched teaser guarantees a candid dialog between the couple and the host.

The teaser opens with Kareena losing no time in teasing Karan in regards to the present’s conclusion. “I’m blissful and relieved. We don’t must maintain approaching ‘Koffee With Karan’,” she says. Johar responds with attribute dry humour: “Thanks for displaying your sensitivity in direction of the final season of the present.” Saif Ali Khan, who has by no means been a pure match for the shiny, rapid-fire format of ‘Koffee With Karan’, leaned into that high quality within the teaser. Interrupting the back-and-forth between his spouse and the host, he declared that he appears like a ‘miscast’ on the present.

In one other second from the teaser, Karan asks Kareena to call the primary actor among the many present crop of Bollywood stars. Her reply, whereas not revealed within the teaser, seems to immediate a cheeky response from Saif. “You’re allowed to reward different actors as properly,” he tells his spouse, suggesting her reply was predictable and maybe pointed in a single path.

The teaser’s funniest moments got here in the course of the rapid-fire spherical. When Karan requested the couple to call actors whose names begin with the letter ‘Ok’, Saif responded with ‘Kavita’, prompting a confused Kareena to ask, “Who’s Kavita?” The reply, clearly designed to throw each his spouse and the host off stability, landed precisely as meant.
