Adarsh Gourav says he embraces anonymity

Adarsh Gourav feels joyful that he isn’t a recognisable face in public regardless of a filmography of many vital hits and finds the anonymity fairly regular. The actor has stepped into documentary storytelling with ‘Voices of the Land’, a brand new sequence that explores the wealthy cultural heritage of India’s northeastern area.

He stated it’s tough for actors, who’re both stars or rising stars, to stay nameless in public. “For me, not being recognised is definitely regular. So not being recognised within the Northeast felt like regular life. The day everyone begins recognising me – that’s when issues will begin feeling irregular,” he stated.

‘Voices of the Land’ will see Gourav journey throughout the Northeast as he connects with indigenous communities via their music, folklore, rituals, oral histories and on a regular basis lives.

Gourav stated he has a ‘very low threshold for cities’ and the docuseries supplied him an opportunity to distance himself from the hustle and bustle of city life.

“I simply needed to get out of the rut of town and get away from something associated to city life. I begin feeling saturated in a short time. If I don’t run away to a spot that has plenty of nature each few weeks, I begin feeling burnt out,” he stated.

Backed by ‘Edstead’ in collaboration with ‘Air India Specific’ and ‘Dentsu Sports activities & Leisure’, ‘Voices of the Land’ will premiere on ‘JioHotstar’ in July 2026.
