‘The Odyssey’ earns over Rs 100 crore at field workplace
New Delhi: Filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’ has earned over Rs 100 crore on the home field workplace within the first week of launch, rising as the largest Hollywood movie of the 12 months.
That includes Matt Damon as Odysseus, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Zendaya as Athena, Robert Pattinson as Antinous, Lupita Nyong’o as Helen of Troy and Clytemnestra, Anne Hathaway as Penelope and Charlize Theron as Calypso, amongst others, the movie launched globally on July 17.
The movie went on to earn over Rs 70 crore in India through the opening weekend. Additionally, it turned out to be one other launch for the filmmaker to earn over Rs 100 crore on the field workplace after ‘Oppenheimer’, in response to a press launch.
