Raju Weds Ramabai Arrives on OTT Today!

Raju Weds Ramabai makes its OTT debut today, 18 December 2025, giving viewers a chance to watch the film from the comfort of their homes. 

The film originally released in theatres on 21 November 2025 and features fresh faces Akhil Raj and Tejaswini in the lead roles, with Chaitu Jonnalagadda playing a key supporting character. 

Saailu Kaampati directs the film and bases the narrative on real-life stories from the Manukota and Illandu regions, lending it a rooted and realistic tone.

The story follows Raju, a cheerful young man from a small village near Illandu. He earns his livelihood by managing his family’s traditional band troupe alongside his parents. Raju’s life takes an emotional turn when he falls in love with Ramabai, the daughter of Venkatanna, a compounder at a government hospital. When Venkatanna discovers their relationship, he strongly opposes it, prioritising social honour and status over his daughter’s happiness.

The conflict between love, ego, and societal pressure drives the narrative and forms the emotional core of the film, affecting both families deeply.
