Rajesh Kalra has resigned from his place as government chairman of Asianet Information Media & Leisure, an Indian Malayalam-language free-to-air information channel, as confirmed by him. He joined the corporate in 2020.
Previous to that, Kalra was the chief editor of Occasions Web (2006–2020), main the launch of key information and leisure properties for The Occasions of India Group. Earlier than that, he was an entrepreneur (2000–2006), managing digital platforms for Yahoo India, MSN India, and others, and launching India’s first 24×7 information web site, NaradOnline.
He started his profession at Dataquest and later labored with The Occasions of India, Enterprise Normal, and The Financial Occasions. In 1999, he grew to become the primary editor of Occasions Interactive.
