Arshad Warsi brings Golmaal attraction to Flipkart’s Black Friday marketing campaign

Flipkart, in collaboration with SW Community, has launched a Black Friday marketing campaign that includes Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi. The marketing campaign, impressed by his position within the film Golmaal, recreates a scene with a contemporary twist to advertise Flipkart’s Black Friday Smartphone Sale.

The marketing campaign attracts inspiration from the title ‘Black Friday’ and reimagines the ‘Black’ scene from Golmaal. Arshad Warsi was solid to evoke nostalgia and add humour by his comedian timing. The dialogue, “Lagta hai smartphones ke costs girne wale hain,” references the unique scene whereas selling Flipkart’s offers on premium smartphones.
