Suman Maitra returns to Darjeeling for ‘Zariyaa 2’

A 12 months after ‘Zariyaa’, director Suman Maitra is again with its sequel. Titled ‘Zariyaa 2’, the Bengali movie stars Rajeshwar and Sreema Bhattacharjee and has been extensively shot in Darjeeling and different elements of North Bengal.

Seven years after parting methods, former lovers Rishav (Rajeshwar) and Shreyasini (Shreema) unexpectedly reunite in Darjeeling. Over two unforgettable days, they revisit the recollections, feelings, misunderstandings and circumstances that after separated them.

Maitra mentioned returning to the units of ‘Zariyaa 2’ was enriching and thrilling.

“‘Zaariya 2’ is a heartfelt story of affection, loss, friendship and the recollections that by no means fade. Rajeshwar and Shreema have carried out so nicely. Additionally, the movie has been shot in picturesque areas,” he mentioned.

Produced by Animesh Ganguly, the movie will hit theatres quickly.
