Delhi Capitals enter into there fourth final, defeats GG in eliminator of WPL 2026

In the eliminator of WPL 2026, Delhi Capitals makes a easy win against Gujrat Giants (GG). Delhi Capitals secured a win of 7 wickets and 26 balls left make there way of final, to give a battle to Royal Challengers Bengaluru on 5 February at 7.30 PM IST.

Delhi Capitals again make there way into the finals, the team appears as the most consistent team in WPL history. This is going to Capitals 4th final of 5th season of WPL. After defeating Gujrat Giants in the eliminator, they make there way to 4th final of WPL. Delhi won the match by 7 wickets and 26 balls in the hand.

Batting first Gujarat Giants posted a competitive 168 for 7 in their 20 overs. Veteran batter Beth Mooney anchored the innings beautifully, finishing unbeaten with a well-timed 62 runs off 51 balls, providing stability and momentum to the Giants’ effort.

But Delhi Capitals chase was calm and shows a authoritative approach from the top order meanwhile there middle order ensured that there will be no hiccups left in the eliminator match. Lizelle Lee played a key role scoring 43(22), providing stability and control at the crease while ensuring the required run rate never climbed out of reach. On the other side Delhi Capitals Skipper Jemimah Rodrigues scored 41(23) and South African batter Laura Wolvaardt remained unbeaten on 32*(24).

Delhi Capitals enter into the final to battle up against RCB on 5th of February. The manner of the chase reflected the team’s maturity and experience in knockout matches.
