Alia Bhatt amongst presenters at 79th BAFTA Movie Awards

New Delhi: Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is about to current an award on the 79th version of the BAFTA Awards, the British Academy introduced on Tuesday.

The awards ceremony, formally known as the EE BAFTA Movie Awards, goals to have fun excellence in worldwide cinema. It’s set to happen on February 22 at London’s Royal Competition Corridor.

The 32-year-old actress is a part of a star-studded lineup of visitor presenters, which additionally contains Alicia Vikander, Bryan Cranston, Cillian Murphy, Delroy Lindo, Emily Watson, Ethan Hawke, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Shut, Hannah Waddingham, Monica Bellucci, Rege-Jean Web page, Riz Ahmed and Stellan Skarsgard.

Apart from Bhatt, filmmaker Lakshmipriya Devi, whose Manipuri-language movie ‘Boong’ has been nominated within the ‘Finest Youngsters’s and Household Movie’ class, can even attend the ceremony.

‘Boong’, which narrates the story of a younger boy named Boong (Gugun Kipgen), from the valley of Manipur, who plans to shock his mom with a present, is backed by actor-producer Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani by their banner ‘Excel Leisure’.

Within the class, the movie will compete in opposition to ‘Disney’ hits ‘Lilo & Sew’ and ‘Zootopia 2’ in addition to the animated science fantasy movie ‘Arco’.
