In the video, a shy Janhvi, dressed in a black suit, can be seen standing on a stage with her dad Boney Kapoor and actress Preity Zinta. Boney Kapoor lifts Janhvi up as they announce the Best Actor award.

Little Janhvi hands over the award to Shah Rukh as soon as he reaches the stage. He plants a kiss on her cheeks and they all pose for a picture.

At the trailer launch, Janhvi reflected the excitement and nervousness of a Bollywood debutante but she was emotional as she missed her mother. “I definitely miss her today. The biggest and most helpful tip she has given me is to work hard and to feel every emotion,” Janhvi had said.

The 21-year-old was accompanied by her father, producer Boney Kapoor, who has been her constant support after the sudden demise of Sridevi earlier this year in Dubai.

Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, ‘Dhadak’ is directed by Shashank Khaitan and will hit the screens on July 20, 2018. It stars Ishaan Khatter opposite Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film is Hindi remake of Marathi superhit ‘Sairat’.

Late bollywood actress Sridevi is still in the hearts of her fans as her untimely death came as a rude shock. The actress accidentally drowned herself in a hotel bathtub in Dubai on February 24, 2018.

Dawood Ibrahim may have a hand in Sridevi’s Death, says retired ACP of Delhi Police

Bhushan, who visited the Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai to probe the incident, believes that Dawood has a stronghold in the United Arab Emirates’ city and shares a close relationship with the Dubai prince’s family. This could’ve stopped the Dubai Police from further investigating the matter adding that not even the hotel staff is ready to cooperate with the probe on Sridevi’s death. To clear his suspicion and doubts, the retired ACP of Delhi Police, who runs a private investigation agency, said that he along with his investigation team also visited a hotel in Dubai, owned by Dawood, and stayed there for a night. He is now planning to make file an appeal in the Supreme Court on this investigation so that the death of Sridevi can be re-examined.

According to the retired cop, when he and his investigating team members requested the Dubai Police to handover Sridevi’s blood samples, information about how much amount of water was found in her lungs and other information associated with the incident, they denied them access. He said, in the name of documents, they just gave him a copy of Sridevi’s post-mortem report.

He further alleged the Dubai Police for their lousy investigation on Sridevi’s death and said that they didn’t even check the CCTV footages of the hotel room.

He also raised his suspicion on an insurance policy worth Rs 240 crore in Sridevi’s name in Oman which could only be encashed if the actress died in Dubai. Singh’s lawyer senior advocate Vikas Singh also argued about the same before the Supreme Court while hearing a plea seeking probe into the death of the veteran actress. But the apex court on Friday, May 11, rejected the plea.

Bhushan has claimed that he has collected a lot of evidences to back his theory and will soon reveal the actual reason behind Sridevi’s death when the time comes.

Supreme Court Dismisses Plea seeking Investigation into death of Sridevi

The Supreme Court on Friday dismissed a plea seeking investigation into the death of veteran actress rencontre homme 29 Sridevi, who drowned in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel in February.

He also mentioned about the insurance coverage of Sridevi. The petitioner, Sunil Singh, had moved the top court challenging a Delhi High Court order rejecting his plea.

Boney Kapoor has registered 3 titles for film on wife Sridevi ?

Legendary actress Sridevi’s sudden demise left the entire nation saddened and shocked. The actress reportedly died due to accidental drowning in her hotel bathtub in Dubai. Now, her husband Producer Boney Kapoor is all set to a movie on late wife Sridevi, as per latest reports. Boney has already registered titles Sri, Sridevi and Sri Ma’am with the movie registration department, reports further added.

“Boneyji is serious about making a film on Srideviji and hence he has registered these titles. He is also keen to acquire other films that she has worked in and has registered the titles of those films too. Films like ChaalBaaz, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Jaanbaaz, Mr India and even titles like Return of Mr India have been registered by Boneyji recently,” a source was quoted as saying to The Asian age.

After Sridevi’s funeral, Boney Kapoor wrote a heart-rending post remembering his beloved wife. “To the world she was their Chandni…but to me she was my love, my friend, mother to our girls…my partner,” he wrote, adding that with her loss was inexplicable in words.

From the moment Boney first laid eyes on Sridevi, he was smitten. “It happened the first time I saw her on screen, this was probably in the late 70s, when I saw one of her Tamil films. I said to myself that this is someone I would want to have in my film,” he said in an earlier interview.

Late veteran actress Sridevi has been named as the Best Actress at the prestigious 65th National Film Awards 2018. Her husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are overwhelmed with the honour and they have released an official statement thanking the Government of India.

The veteran actress has received the award for her spectacular performance in Mom. The announcement of the winners was made today by jury head Shekhar Kapur.

The statement reads, “We are overjoyed to know that the Jury has conferred the Best Actor Award to Sridevi for her performance in ‘MOM’. It’s a very special moment for all of us. She was always a perfectionist and it showed in all the 300 plus films she did. She was not just a Super Actor but a Super Wife and a Super Mom. Its time to celebrate her life and her achievements. She is not with us today but her legacy will always live on. We thank the Government of India, the Hon’ble Jury Members for this honour. We also take this opportunity to thank all our friends, her fans who have been sending us congratulatory messages.”

Sridevi died of accidental drowning on February 24, 2018 in Dubai. The lady was in the country to attend the wedding of Mohit Marwah.

Manish Malhotra reveals he spoke to Sridevi the night she died

Late Veteran Actress Sridevi‘s one of the close friends Celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra in a heartfelt tribute to the veteran actress revealed some important and unknown information about the actress. Sridevi died in her room at a Dubai hotel due to accidental drowning on February 24. She was in Dubai to attend wedding ceremony of her nephew Mohit Marwah along with her husband Boney Kapoor and younger daughter Khushi Kapoor.

And Sridevi’s friend Manish not just designed Sridevi’s attire for the function but also attended the wedding function. He even shared series of pics with Sridevi and Khushi on his Instagram.

But the ace fashion designer paying his tribute to Sridevi wrote a heartfelt note and also revealed that he had a long conversation with the actress the day she died. Manish revealed this in a interview with fashion magazine, Vogue.

In his note Manish wrote :

This is the first time I’ve lost someone so close, and it feels surreal. I’d known her for 28 years. We were at a wedding together and then, out of nowhere, her sister Srilatha was handing me a silk sari for her funeral. I spoke to her the night she passed away. We talked about everything under the sun, from Janhvi’s film, how beautiful Khushi looked at the wedding to even what she had eaten earlier that day. Even now, so many days later, I still expect my phone to ring, and to hear her discuss an outfit or a project which we can work on together.
