Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s next comedy franchise film ‘Housefull 4’ is scheduled to release on Diwali and although there is no official announcement for the cast of the film but it is being told that Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde are finalized for the same.
Recently, there were reports in the media, that Sanjay Dutt may also be a part of this film but it looks like that makers have thought it twice to cast Sanju in the film. According to reports, since the biopic of Sanjay Dutt has come out people are continuously targetting the makers for targeting media for whatever happened to Sanjay Dutt in his life.
If reports are to be believed, There was a character written for Sanjay Dutt and the makers were supposed to approach him but without informing to anyone the role went to renowned actor Nana Patekar. Even Nana Patekar who had worked in Welcome series has said yes to Housefull 4.
It will be interesting to see Nana Patekar and Akshay Kumar together in any film after Welcome.

The script of the much-awaited sequel to Bollywood star Akshay Kumar-starrer “Rowdy Rathore” is ready. It just needs to be approved by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who is co-producing the film, says Shabina Khan. There have been talks about the sequel to the action-comedy film since it became a blockbuster in 2012.

“I will (do more TV shows) but I will do things which… my funda in life is that I want to do things which I will enjoy watching too. Even while making ‘Rowdy…’, my first film, I thought that I would have given Rs 500 to buy a ticket to watch that film,” she added.

As reported by Mumbai Mirror, the project was locked in last month after the three actors gave their dates for the film. Confirming the news, director Indra Kumar took to his Twitter and said, “This is going to be a fun project with a stellar star cast @akshaykumar @SunielVShetty @SirPareshRawal Looking forward to #HeraPheri3”
The first film of the franchise released in 2000 and was directed by Priyadarshan. However, this time director Indra Kumar will helm the film. Hera Pheri became a success at the box office a tremendous word of mouth working in its favor.
It won’t be wrong to call it a commercially successful film. In 2006, Phir Hera Pheri released which failed to create the same charm and was a flop, critically and commercially.
The third installment of the franchise will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule between December 2018 and February 2019 and will release in the second half of next year.

Popular Bollywood actor John Abraham, who will be seen donning army uniform in his upcoming film ‘Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran’, says he stands by his actor friend Akshay Kumar’s decision to auction the naval costume he had worn in Rustom.
For those who are unaware, Akshay and his wife Twinkle have been served legal notice and are accused of “playing with the sentiments” of the armed forces by putting up for auction a naval costume from his film Rustom.
“I am not going to be politically correct but I stand by him,” John told reporters. The director of Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran Abhishek Sharma said Col Brijmohan Sharma helped the team with the research for the film.
“Col Brijmohan Sharma was on board, he is retired now. He was in charge of the orientation test. He made sure everything from the army camp to the uniform and behaviour was taken care of,” Abhishek said.
“He did not care if someone was actor or not, he would just pull us up, saying, what is this? He was clear he wanted things to look clear,” John added.
The 45-year-old actor-producer decided to go solo with Parmanu… after his production house John Abraham Entertainment terminated partnership with Kriarj Entertainment over material breaches and bad reputation.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has opened up on the controversy surrounding the auction of the naval uniform that has been used in his film ‘Rustom’ saying that he supports his wife. The actor added that the auction supports a good cause and he has not done anything wrong.
Akshay, who was present as the brand ambassador of New India Conclave on Tuesday evening, said this when he was asked to comment on the ongoing controversy. The National Award winning actor said: “I support my wife on that matter. I and my wife are doing some work with good intention for a good cause. That was a costume that I used in the film. It is going for (for auction) a good cause. I do not think we have done anything wrong.”
“If anyone finds it wrong then it is okay. I cannot do anything on that,” he added. Akshay replied to the question raised by the media in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
On April 26, Akshay tweeted “Hi all, I’m thrilled to announce that you can bid to win the actual naval officer uniform I wore in Rustom! Auction’s proceeds will support the cause of animal rescue and welfare. Place your bid at http://www.SaltScout.com !”
The controversy started when a person took to Facebook to express his opinion on why the ‘auction of a naval officer’s uniform’ is wrong. That was further tweeted to Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna.
Responding to that, Twinkle said: “As a society, do we really think it’s all right to threaten a woman with bodily harm for trying to raise funds for a charity by auctioning a uniform used in a movie, a piece of film memorabilia? I will not retaliate with violent threats but by taking legal action!”
The troller had said: “You touch our honour and we will give you a bloody nose.”
