Popular Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut in 2007 film Om Shanti Om co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. However, that was not her first break as she got her first big break in Singer-Music Composer Himesh Reshammiya’s music video ‘Naam Hai Tere Tera’. It was with that video that Farah Khan and SRK noticed her and casted her for her first film.

Deepika is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming film Chhapaak, and recently made an appearance on the sets of Sony TV’s popular singing reality show Indian Idol. The show features Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya, and Neha Kakkar as the judges.
