Popular TV show ‘Naamkaran’ fame Zain Imam also famous as ‘Neil Khanna’ recently underwent COVID-19 tests after his co-star Aftab Shivdasani was tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Zain was shooting in Lonawala with him for a project.
Zain Imam in conversation with TOI said, “We returned to Mumbai on Wednesday. The following day we learned about Aftab testing positive COVID-29 and immediately underwent tests. I hope it’s negative. I am taking precautions, following home remedies, and not stepping out. I had a few meetings lined up, which I have canceled. I had to cancel a few meetings I had committed to so that others are safe.”
However, according to the report, Zain has tested negative for the novel coronavirus as the result came last night. He shared, “Yes, I have tested negative. However, as a precautionary measure, I am still not stepping out because preliminary COVID tests aren’t always precise, because sometimes symptoms take time to develop. So, as a responsible citizen, I am not going out unnecessarily. Although I am absolutely fine, I will get the antibody test done in a few days.”
The actor further added that he was anxious throughout this time and he informed his parents in Delhi, in his hometown, after he was tested negative. Zain shared a special message for his co-star Aftab and tells that he’s glad that Aftab is feeling fine now.
