Neha Mehta left Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after a Spat with Producer Asit Modi

Here's why actress Neha Mehta, also known as TMKOC's Anjali Mehta left the show!

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running shows of SabTV. As soon as all the shows resume their shoots, so did TMKOC’s team resumed its shoot. Recently, it was reported that Rakesh Bedi will soon be joining TMKOC’s team and will be seen in the show.

Now, as per the latest reports, TMKOC’s actress Neha Mehta who used play the role of Anjali Mehta had to leave the show. Dainik Bhaskar quoted a source saying, “Neha had to take this big decision because of the difference between actress and show producer Asit Modi.” It is believed that Neha Mehta and Asit Modi couldn’t resolve their issues by talking.

Sources on the set revealed to the portal that Neha was a part of the show for 12 years and she expected some respect from the people around her on sets. However, she didn’t get what she expected and it used to bother her a lot. The source further added, “She would also cry on the set, and sometimes situations were set up on the set where she had to be silent even when she was right.”

A few months ago, the things didn’t go fine between the makers of the show and Neha, and that’s when makers said that if Neha doesn’t want to work, she can leave happily. To honor herself, Neha had to decide to leave the show.

To confirm the news, the portal contacted Neha Mehta, where she said, “I respect Asit Ji very much and I want him to speak about it first. I will respectfully respect what he says. There is a lot of trust in the media and my audience. After every end, there is a new beginning. I am very positive and hopefully, I will continue to entertain people going forward. We are all going through a bad phase right now, At such a time, we all should support each other.”

Neha Mehta was a part of the show from the last 12 years and has never failed to entertain her audience with her character as Anjali Mehta.
