Renowned Fashion Designer Umang Mehta has sent a legal notice of infringement to a Mumbai based clothing and Fashion store Bespokewala for allegedly stealing and maliciously using his material of an image of a unique Tuxedo designed by him. Mehta have accused the clothing store owner of malafidely putting the same in a newspaper advertisement on the 26th of December 2020 and doing business on the same.
Mehta, who is known for designing clothes for popular celebrities like legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya and others have made serious accusations against the clothing store in the infringement notice.
Popular celebrity lawyer Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh, who’s representing Mehta confirmed sending the notice to the owner of the clothing store and said,”Bespokewala have shamelessly infringed and stolen the art, design, photo of my client which even has a watch being worn by the model that belongs to my client himself. Rightful legal recourse have been taken against such illegal acts of cheating the public at large.”
When we contacted Umang Mehta about the same, He confirmed that he has sent a legal infringement notice to the owner of Bespokewala and made serious accusations against the store.
When we contacted Imran Shaikh, the owner of the clothing store, He denied receiving any notice.
