While investigating the suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, The Mumbai Police had demanded Copies of Actor’s contract with Yash Raj Films. Yash Raj Films have now handed over a copy of the contract with Sushant to the police.
According to reports, it has been confirmed through the contract that Yash Raj Films had done three films contract with Sushant. Among those three films, Sushant had worked with Yash Raj in ‘Byomkesh Bakshi’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. At the same time, the third film ‘Pani’ was not extended due to budget.
The Bandra Police is thoroughly investigating the suicide case of Sushant Singh Rajput and on Thursday, the police had asked Yash Raj Films Production to hand over a copy of the contract with Sushant to the police. It has now been confirmed that Yash Raj had contracted three films with Sushant like all the other actors.
The reports suggest that after doing two films, director Shekhar Kapur had demanded Yash Raj for a budget of over Rs 150 crore for Sushant’s third film. This budget was too much for the production house, so they refused to make the film. Both Shekhar and Sushant felt very bad after this film named ‘Pani’ was shelved.
