Sushant Singh Rajput Death : Home Minister Amit Shah Forwards Letter for CBI Probe

Mumbai Police is currently investigating the suicide of Popular Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. However, many of his fans have demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter. On the completion of 1 month of Sushant’s death on 14 July, former MP Pappu Yadav has tweeted about the same. His tweet mentions that he wrote to Home Minister Amit Shah for a CBI inquiry into Sushant’s case and Shah has forwarded this letter for action.

In his tweet in Hindi, Pappu Yadav has said ‘Amit Shah ji, if you want, there can be a CBI investigation in Sushant case in a minute. Do not avoid it! A letter was requested to the Union Home Minister for a CBI inquiry into the suspicious death of film actor Sushant Singh Rajput of Bihar.
He (Amit Shah) has forwarded the letter for action.’

Pappu Yadav has also attached a copy of Amit Shah’s letter to him with the tweet. In the letter, Home Minister has replied that his letter has been sent to the concerned ministry.

On a related note, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on 14 June. The Mumbai Police is currently investigating this matter. Police have recorded statements of several people associated with Sushant.
