Statements of Bollywood celebrities are coming in the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. Now Tanushree Dutta, who has worked in films and was recently in news because of her alleged sexual harassment and MeeToo allegations. Tanushree has said that she has no faith in the Mumbai Police in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case and that there should be a CBI inquiry into the case.
Tanushree said in a live session of Instagram, ‘Mumbai police cannot be trusted for a proper investigation. In most such cases, the police stop without any investigation and it becomes a toy in the hands of criminals and politicians.’ Tanushree said that the police only do plays like recording statements to show people because that case is hot at that time.
This Instagram live session of Tanushree is of 23rd June, but it is now going viral on social media. Tanushree further said, ‘ The case should be taken over by the CBI and if there is the involvement of the underworld in it, then Interpol should take it up. In most such cases, a group of people is responsible for the crime and not a particular person. These people play with the sentiments of the public and wait for the case to get closed.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra Apartment on 14th June. Currently, Mumbai Police as well as Bihar Police are investigating the case.
