Phantom Films and Karan Johar in Talks for Making a Film or Web Series on Raj Comics’ Famous character ‘Nagraj’ ?

According to Sanjay Gupta, the owner of Raj Comics, one of India’s most famous comics company, a film or a web series based on Raj Comics’ popular character ‘Nagraj’ may be released by next year. Sanjay revealed that he is currently in discussion with some production companies including Karan Johar and Phantom Films.

There are a lot of comic fans in India, and when we talk about Hindi comics, then the first name which comes to the mind is of Raj Comics. There are millions of people from cities to villages whose childhood is associated with memories of Raj Comics.

Talking to AajTak, Raj Comics owner Sanjay Gupta said that due to Coronavirus, the demand for Raj Comics has increased and people are sending digital comics to each other nowadays. Not only this, He said that he hopes that by next year, a film, serial, or web series based on Raj Comics can also be released.

“Earlier, we had to approach the production houses and there was a time when we along with actor Mukesh Khanna’s production house Bhishma International, had made some episodes based on our comics but for some other reasons, that serial was not released on TV. But the good thing is that now the production houses themselves are approaching us.” Sanjay told Aajtak.

According to Sanjay Gupta, He is in talks with Anurag Kashyap’s Phantom film and Karan Johar to make a film. Apart from this, many channels and production houses are also approaching him.
