A few days ago, Sushant Singh Rajput‘s family lawyer Vikas Singh had claimed that a doctor from the AIIMS Forensic team have told him right after looking at the post-death pictures of the late actor that he was strangulated and murdered.
On Wednesday, Singh has written a letter to the Director of CBI and has demanded a re-examination of forensic reports. However, now Singh has made a shocking revelation in a press conference where he revealed that the doctor who had told him after looking at post-death pictures of Sushant that it was strangulation and not death by hanging, was nobody else but rather the AIIMS Forensic Head, Dr. Sudhir Gupta.
During the press conference, he stated that Dr. Gupta has taken a U-turn as he was the same doctor who confirmed him that Sushant died by strangulation and he was 200% sure about it. He recounted how he met Dr. Gupta and stated that even before the SSR’s death case was referred to him by the CBI, Dr. Gupta was always questioning the way Cooper Hospital functioned in the matter.
Vikas Singh added, “And when I sent him photos taken by Sushant’s sister he immediately commented it’s death by strangulation and it can’t be death by hanging.” He continued and said that if a person can make such a casual comment and then immediately upturn it then what credibility can be assigned to him.
Earlier in the day when Singh wrote the letter to the CBI, he has mentioned that the AIIMS team didn’t have the late actor’s body and their job wasn’t to conduct autopsy but rather to provide an opinion on Cooper Hospital’s work and to decide whether it was suicide as death by hanging needn’t be suicide.
