Sushant Singh Rajput's father files a Counter-Affidavit in Supreme Court objecting Rhea Chakraborty's plea

On the hearing date of Rhea Chakraborty‘s plea seeking transfer of the FIR filed by the late actor’s father in Patna to Mumbai, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta revealed something before the hearing. SG Tushar revealed that the Centre has accepted the Bihar government’s recommendation of the CBI probe.

After the hearing, the Supreme Court in its verdict gave three days to Mumbai police and Maharashtra government to submit all the pieces of evidence in the late actor’s death case. As per the latest news, it is reported that Sushant’s father has filed a counter-affidavit.

As reported by ANI, KK Singh has argued that the case has already been transferred to CBI and hence, Rhea’s request seeking transfer of the FIR remains ‘infructuous’. A tweet made by the news agency reads, “#SushantSinghRajput’s father, KK Singh (in file pic), files counter affidavit before Supreme Court stating the investigation in the FIR has already been transferred to CBI and thus Rhea Chakraborty’s plea seeking transfer of probe to Mumbai stands infructuous.”

The CBI has already started its probe by filing an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, brother Shovik Chakraborty, parents, manager Shruti Modi, and others.

On Friday, Rhea was interrogated for 9 hours by Enforcement Directorate in the money laundering charges against her.
