Sushant Singh Rajput‘s family lawyer Vikas Singh has written a letter to the Director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Vikas Singh wrote the letter to the Director of CBI, Rishi Kumar Shukla after, on Wednesday morning, the Bombay High Court granted bail to actress Rhea Chakraborty.
In the letter, Vikas Singh claimed that the forensic investigation report which was submitted to the CBI by AIIMS is flawed and demands re-examination by a different team. ANI shared the letter of Singh in its report, where Singh has said, “This case should be referred to another forensic team formed by CBI.”
He also added that the AIIMS team was not doing a post-mortem report but was only to express its opinions about the port-mortem report done by the Cooper Hospital. He further wrote, “AIIMS did not have the privilege of examining the body of Sushant Singh Rajput and thus forming a first-hand opinion about the cause of death.”

The letter also pointed to various other aspects like the post-mortem done at the Cooper Hospital in the night without any Magistrate’s order for such an exercise, no videotaping of the autopsy, and non-preservation of sufficient viscera for future examination. It also mentioned that the post-mortem report of Cooper Hospital didn’t mention the injuries on the body and thus no opinion on the cause of such injuries.
The letter read more infirmities that the legal time has written against the report of the forensic team and demanded a re-examination of the reports.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. However, the probe to find out the cause of his death is still ongoing.
