A few days ago, the AIIMS forensic panel who was re-evaluating Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem report and viscera sample, had submitted its report to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In its report, the panel of doctors ruled out the murder theories and termed SSR’s death a case of hanging and death by suicide.
However, Sushant’s family and their lawyer Vikas Singh didn’t seem happy with the reports and later Singh requested CBI for a fresh forensic team. Talking to Republic TV, Singh revealed the details of his conversation with AIIMS Forensic Chief Dr. Sudhir Gupta.
Singh told the portal that Dr. Gupta had called him after the late actor’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty. He said, “When the Sushant tragedy happened and we got the FIR registered, he only rang me up.”
He recounted, “There were two photos floating around, a morphed one which somebody had created and the one Meetu had taken from her camera. So I sent him Meetu’s photos and his immediate, spontaneous reaction was that if this photo is genuine, then this line he sees on Sushant’s neck is a 200% death by strangulation.”
He further added that Dr. Gupta had told him that this kind of mark will not come by the cloth with which he is supposed to have hanged. “I’m not the kind of person who records calls, but in retrospect, I should have. But I’m sure when this goes to further examination his lies will be exposed,” Singh told the portal.
As per reports, Singh has also written a letter to the Director of the CBI asking for a fresh panel to evaluate the reports and he also called the reports submitted by the AIIMS panel as faulty.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai.
