Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case is taking twists and turns every day. After the late actor’s father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. Later, Rhea filed a plea in Supreme Court seeking the transfer of the case to Mumbai police.
The Supreme Court announced its verdict today whether the case should be transferred to the Mumbai Police or the CBI will continue its investigation on the case. Justice Hrishikesh Roy will give the verdict on the plea filed by Rhea.
The Supreme Court has ordered Mumbai police to hand over all the evidence to the CBI for further probe and to provide assistance in the case. “It is a court-ordered CBI investigation. Maharashtra police must comply and assist”, ordered the bench.
The court also dismissed the plea filed by Rhea Chakraborty for transferring the case to Mumbai police and stated that Bihar FIR is valid. CBI has also been directed to look into any case which comes up in the future related to Sushant Singh Rajput.
The bench dictated order and said, “We have provided some safeguards in the manner in which the probe is to be conducted. In light of the reasons stated above, the plea has no merit and is accordingly dismissed.”
The late actor was found dead on June 14 in his apartment and now the CBI will probe the case.
