Sushant Singh Rajput Case : Maharashtra Government Files Probe Report in Supreme Court

In the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Maharashtra government has filed a sealed report of the probe in the Supreme Court. According to reports, the state government has submitted details of the investigation conducted so far. The Supreme Court has asked for the hearing of the Sushant case on August 11. Earlier, on August 5, the Supreme Court had sought a response from the Maharashtra government after hearing Rhea Chakraborty’s plea to transfer the case from Patna to Mumbai.

Sushant’s father KK Singh in a counter-affidavit on Saturday informed the Supreme Court that Rhea has already started influencing witnesses related to the case and has also taken a U-turn on the CBI probe. Sushant’s father also said that Rhea wanted a CBI inquiry so why she is opposing it now.

Sushant’s father has said that Actor’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani had sent a mail to the Mumbai Police against the Bihar Police investigation and Rhea Chakraborty has also used that mail in her petition. Siddharth had claimed in his mail that he was being pressured for making statements against Rhea. Sushant’s father has said in his affidavit that how did the mail of the main witness of the case reach the hands of the main accused?

The CBI, on Thursday, registered an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Shovik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, and Shruti Modi. At the same time, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is questioning Rhea Chakraborty and her family regarding the use of Sushant’s money.
