Recently, the ED shared a piece of evidence in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case with the CBI and the Narcotics Control Bureau which revealed that Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik were allegedly involved in the usage and dealing of drugs along with other people close to Sushant. The NCB has filed a complaint against Rhea and Showik under sections 20, 22, 27, and 29 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.

The latest development of the case was reported by the Republic TV which revealed that one of the two persons who were taken into custody for dealing in drugs by the Narcotics Control Bureau on Tuesday evening has admitted that he knew Showik Chakraborty. The portal quoted the source saying that one of the two persons has admitted knowing Showik.

The sources have also informed that 3.5kgs of marijuana have been seized. The NCB got involved in the case after ED shared the evidence of usage and dealing of drugs by Rhea. Rhea’s WhatsApp chats were also revealed later which showed that Rhea has talked to different people about the procurement and use of drugs. In one of the conversations, Rhea was instructed by her ex-talent manager to use only 4 drops in Sushant’s beverage.

NCB has been investigating the case and has made significant revelations so far. As reported, 3.5kgs of marijuana have been seized during a raid in Mumbai and Delhi. The drugs were sourced from abroad and it is reported that they were allegedly meant for ‘page 3 celebs’.
