On Saturday, the Chairman of AIIMS Forensic Medical Board, Dr. Sudhir Gupta confirmed the media reports stating that the AIIMS forensic team has ruled out murder theories in Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case. In a statement, he stated, “We have concluded our conclusive report. It is a case of hanging and death by suicide.”

After his statement, Rhea Chakraborty‘s lawyer as well as Sushant’s family lawyer both commented on the same. Even Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh also responded to the reports and stated that AIIMS reports have proved Mumbai police’s investigation correct.

However, Sushant’s self-proclaimed close friend Sandip Ssingh, who fell into the well of troubles after being there for his friend Sushant for the very last time, also opened up on the AIIMS report in the late actor’s death case. Talking to Bombay Times, Sandip opened up about the development in the SSR’s case.

On being asked about his take on Dr. Sudhir Gupta’s statement, Sandip said, “I don’t know why we start reacting without knowing the absolute facts of the matter. As his friends, family, and well-wishers, we wanted a CBI inquiry in the matter. Post that, the NCB inquiry also started. In the interim, a lot of people have spoken out of turn and made a mockery of an on-going investigation by a national agency.”

Adding further, he said, “While I have read a statement made by Dr. Gupta, I wonder why we are not waiting for the CBI to issue a comment or a conclusive statement. We are not ready to wait.” Sandip continued speaking that the doctor has given his statement but the final word will rest with what the CBI’s inquiry report reveals.

Commenting on if he feels that the SSR’s death case has taken a different turn and the focus of the matter has shifted, Sandip agreed and said that the investigation which began with the intention of finding out what happened to Sushant, why he died, and how he died turned into something completely different.

He said, “We are here to seek justice. While exploring angles of the case, we can’t forget that we want to know what happened to Sushant in his last moments.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead on June 14 in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. Sandip Ssingh is a producer and was amongst the first ones to reach Sushant’s residence when the news of his untimely demise broke out.
