Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty spent the last one month in Byculla jail under the judicial custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau and the actress got her bail on Wednesday morning, after which she was allowed to walk out of the jail in the evening.
In conversation with NDTV, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde revealed how the actress spent her days in jail. Describing how she spent time in jail he revealed that Rhea made attempts to stay positive and told the portal, “I personally went to a jail to see a client after so many years, because she was hounded, and I wanted to see the condition that she was in. I was fortunate to see that she was in good spirits. She looked after herself in the jail.”
He added further that Rhea used to conduct yoga classes for herself and her jail inmates, and also she adjusted herself in the jail. “She adjusted herself in the jail, because she could not get home food because of the pandemic, and she lived with the inmates as if she was a commoner. Being an army girl, she fought the conditions like a battle, and she is ready to face any person who is trying to accuse her and harm her interest.”
Satish Maneshinde also stated that Sushant Singh Rajput‘s family seemed vindictive towards her as they have accused Rhea of abetting the late actor’s suicide and siphoning his money. During the interview, Rhea’s lawyer called her a ‘Bengal Tigress’ and said that she would fight back to restore her blackened image.
