In Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection to her drug-link and she also had admitted during her interrogation that she used to procure drugs for the late actor and might have smoked a joint once. However, she also claimed that Sushant used to force her to consume drugs. Rhea is currently in the Byculla jail in Mumbai as her bail plea was refused twice by the court.

In the latest development of the case, India Today has informed that Rhea Chakraborty used to use her mother Sandhya Chakraborty‘s mobile phone, and chatted about drugs. The agency seized the phone during the investigation and retrieved the data from it.

As per the report, the NCB said that Rhea didn’t give this phone to the Enforcement Directorate when she was asked to submit her mobile phones. However, the NCB, later on, seized this phone during the search of Rhea Chakraborty’s home. It is revealed that Rhea was in touch with her friends and other people through this phone and she was a part of many WhatsApp groups on this phone. Many people from these groups are also under the NCB radar now.

The Enforcement Directorate had earlier seized the actress’s mobile phone for money-laundering investigation. The agency then released several chats of Rhea during the investigation which included chats with Jaya Saha, Sushant’s ex-manager Shruti Modi, Samuel Miranda, and Gaurav Arya, which led to the involvement of the NCB.

Rhea was interrogated by the NCB for 3 days in a row after which was she was arrested for allegedly dealing in drugs and procuring them for SSR. Along with Rhea, her brother Showik and Sushant’s house-manager Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant were also arrested.

All these people who were arrested by the NCB are under judicial custody of the agency till September 22.
