Rhea Chakraborty was grilled for 3 days in a row by the Narcotics Control Bureau, for her alleged connection with drug peddlers and for procuring drugs for the late actor, and was arrested by the agency on September 8. During the interrogation, the actress had admitted procuring drugs for the late actor.
Rhea is currently in the Byculla jail under the judicial custody of the NCB till October 6, as it got extended by the court on the agency’s request. Rhea’s legal team had applied for a bail plea in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday after her custody got extended. The hearing for her bail plea was scheduled for today, but due to heavy rains in Mumbai, the Chief Justice declared a holiday for the court, hence postponing the hearing to tomorrow.
Now, Times Now has stated that Rhea in her bail plea, has alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput used to smoke cannabis cigarettes and stated that he sourced them for himself. According to the report, Rhea has mentioned that she was concerned about Sushant’s alleged drug habits and when she confronted him, Sushant allegedly told her that he developed the liking for the drug during the shoot of Kedarnath.

The actress has also mentioned in her plea about the incident of June 2019 claiming that the late actor’s sister Priyanka Singh misbehaved with her under the influence of alcohol. Earlier, Rhea has talked about the differences between her and Priyanka. Rhea also stated that Sushant’s sister Neetu had threatened the late actor and would file a false criminal case regarding his altercation with sister Priyanka.
The bail plea of Rhea also stated that she made mention of the Europe trip and claimed that Sushant was ‘anxious and disturbed’ and the late actor had shared a similar incident which happened in the year 2013.
Now, Rhea’s bail plea will be heard tomorrow by the Bombay High Court, the court will decide based on the bail plea that if she should get the bail or not.
