In Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case, the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is the prime accused and was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 9 after being grilled for 3 days in a row by the agency. Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate had found evidence of drugs from Rhea’s WhatsApp chats which lead to the involvement of NCB in the case.
The NCB had arrested the actress’s brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda on September 4 after the agency conducted a raid at their respective homes. However, the NCB had arrested several people in the drug probe in SSR’s case.
When Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the NCB, then she was sent to 14-days judicial custody of the agency by the court which kept on increasing at the request of NCB. Now, as per Times Now report, Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty’s judicial custody has been extended till October 20, by the Special NDPS court.
