In the NCB remand copy, it is mentioned that Showik is a part of an active drug syndicate, and high profile persons are a part of that syndicate. The ED earlier shared the evidence of usage and dealing of drugs with the NCB and the CBI which were found from Rhea Chakraborty’s WhatsApp chats. Now, the NCB is trying to find out how Showik and others procured drugs in high quantities.
Rhea Chakraborty has also been summoned by the NCB to appear before the anti-narcotics agency on Sunday, September 6. In the Times Now report, it is reported that Rhea is likely to be arrested after questioning is done.
The chats that were leaked earlier which involved the NCB in the SSR’s case revealed that Rhea, her brother Showik and Samuel Miranda, and few others used to have a conversation on WhatsApp groups in connection to drugs and how to use, procure or deal in them.
