NCB Opens Up on Reports of Investigating Karan Johar’s Viral Party Video from 2019

The Narcotics Control Bureau's Deputy Director General has opened up about the reports of investigating Karan Johar's viral party video from 2019. The NCB official said it has no connection to the case.

After the untimely demise of a talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bollywood industry has become the target of many. It has been prey to several debates which included debates on ‘Nepotism’ to debates on ‘Insider’ vs ‘Outsider’ and now the latest one is about the ongoing drug nexus in the industry.

Many celebrities from the industry are under the scanner of the Narcotics Control Bureau for their alleged link with the drug peddlers or consumption of drugs. Recently, the NCB interrogated top Bollywood actresses after their names got involved in the ongoing drug case.

However, a viral video of Karan Johar‘s house party from the year 2019 has been in the talks for a while and there were reports which stated that NCB is investigating the authenticity of the video to probe the case further and unfold the hidden truth of the industry.

As per the India Today report, there’s a clarification from the Deputy Director-General of NCB about the investigation of Karan Johar’s 2019 viral party video. The portal quoted the Deputy DG of NCB, MA Jain saying, “Karan Johar’s party video has no connection to this case.”

Now his statement about the Karan Johar’s party video indicates that there’s no investigation going on related to the video and it has no connection to this case.

Also, Karan Johar too stated on Friday night clearing that he doesn’t support nor consume any narcotic substance and there was no consumption of drugs at his party.
