On Saturday, the Chairman of the AIIMS Forensic Medical Board, Dr. Sudhir Gupta confirmed the media reports stating that the AIIMS forensic team has ruled out murder theories. Talking to ANI, Dr. Sudhir Gupta stated that they have concluded their conclusive report and it is a case of hanging and death by suicide.

Reacting to the AIIMS report, Mumbai Police Commissioner, Parambir Singh told the media that they have not received any official report from the AIIMS hospital and have got to know about their findings through the media. He added that the AIIMS hospital doctor panel’s findings are the same as Mumbai police, thereby proving that their investigation was correct.

He stated, “Lot of allegations were put on us but the report from AIIMS proves we were right.” He continued saying that SSR’s death case was probed properly by the Mumbai Police. “From the very beginning in Sushant Singh Rajput case, proper investigations were done. CBI too is a professional agency,” he said.

He concluded by saying that the Mumbai police are a professional investigating agency and every case with Mumbai police is always investigated properly. He said they had full trust and faith in their investigation.

After Dr. Gupta confirmed the reports of murder theories being ruled out, as per reports, the CBI is going to probe the case from the angle of abetment to suicide.
