Kangana Ranaut reveals She was Offered to Contest Elections from Congress and BJP

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has always been known for her strong personality, and her bold opinions and thoughts. The actress has been seen active on social issues and always stood up for things she found unfair. Even after Sushant Singh Rajput‘s untimely demise, she was the first one to raise her voice against nepotism, groups in the industry, and insider vs. outsider debate.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Kangana’s team tweeted a saying of Swami Vivekananda and compared it to PM Narendra Modi for his good deed. The team tweeted quoting Kangana, “Vivekananda famously said give me 100 men/women I will change the face of this country, when I see his great disciple honourable Prime Minister @narendramodi I wonder what will Swami say about him? ‘ये अकेला ही बहुत है’ Slightly smiling face#IndependenceDay”

Before trollers would’ve started trolling her, her team tweeted a clarification that supporting a political party doesn’t mean she wants to get into politics. The team shared about Kangana’s family’s political background and how she was offered to contest elections from Congress and BJP every year.

The team tweeted quoting Kangana, “This is to set the records straight for everyone who thinks I support Modi ji because I want to join politics,my grandfather has been congress MLA for consecutive 15 years,my family is so popular in politics back home that after Gangster almost every year I got offers (cont )1/2”

Tweet continues, “From Congress, fortunately after Manikarnika even BJP offered me a ticket, I am obsessed with my work as an artist and never thought about politics so all the trolling that I get for supporting who I want to support as independent thinker need to stop ”

Kangana has been in the limelight recently for taking a stand against nepotism and getting justice for Sushant.
