Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan recently grabbed the headlines after she was summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in connection to the ongoing drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The actress was issued a summon along with other Bollywood actresses for their alleged involvement in the Bollywood’s drug nexus.
Now, Sara Ali Khan is again in the news for her film ‘Coolie No.1’ with co-star Varun Dhawan which is all set to be released next month on the OTT platform. But due to the incident that happened in the past few days where the actress was summoned by the NCB and grilled for hours, it is reported that Sara Ali Khan will not be promoting ‘Coolie No.1’.
As per Bollywood Hungama’s report, a source has revealed that Sara will be avoiding the press and everyone thinks it is better if the actress avoids the press altogether. The source stated, “It’s for the best. Everyone thinks it is better that Sara avoids the press altogether. Even David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan will be doing handpicked selected press to avoid uncomfortable questions on nepotism.”
Also, reports were doing the rounds recently that there’s a split over the decision between David Dhawan and his son Varun Dhawan for the release of Coolie No.1 but the latter had cleared out the air later that there’s no tension between him and his father over the release of the film that whether it will have a theatre release or OTT platform.
