ED reveals Rhea Chakraborty was a part of many ‘Drug Whatsapp Groups’

As Rhea Chakraborty is the prime accused of SSR's death case, ED has revealed that Rhea was a part of many drug whatsapp groups. Investigating is ongoing and NCB is investigating the case as well.

In Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case, another angle emerged recently which revealed that Rhea Chakraborty used to deal and use drugs. The Enforcement Directorate shared a piece of evidence with the CBI and the Narcotics Control Bureau which was found out from Rhea’s WhatsApp chat with different people talking about the availability of certain drugs and how to use it.

As reported, the ED has also revealed that Rhea was a part of many WhatsApp groups where drugs were discussed. In the latest development, the agency has found out another lead who’s a national level snooker and billiards player, Rishabh Thakur. He’s currently under the scanner for dealing drugs. On Tuesday, Rishabh was summoned by the ED and questioned for eight hours.

A particular chat is found which is different from all other WhatsApp chats of Rhea where the drug was discussed. The group on WhatsApp was created for a wedding function in Udaipur and Rhea, Rishabh Thakur, and Kunal Jani along with others who were a part of the group who were going to Udaipur.

According to reports, Kunal is a Mumbai-based hotelier who is the director of the hotel with Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty’s husband. India Today quoted a source that chats found in this group were regarding the purchase of doobies and consumption was being discussed.

Based on the chats, Kunal Jani was interrogated on Monday while Rishabh was questioned on Tuesday by the ED. Kunal Jani has told the ED officials that he did not indulge in any kind of peddling while he has consumed narcotic drugs occasionally in parties. He also said that he knows Rhea as a friend.

Now, the NCB along with the ED is investigating the drugs aspect of the case while CBI is probing other parts.
