‘Dream Girl’ Director Raaj Shaandilya recovers from COVID-19

Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa who was tested positive for COVID-19 a few days back, has now recovered from the coronavirus and has tested negative for the same.

With the rising number of COVID-19 cases in our country, it seems like the novel coronavirus has no mood to leave before infecting everybody. The entertainment industry has witnessed so many celebrities getting infected with the virus. Thankfully almost everybody recovered and are doing fine now, while few of them left for the heavenly abode.

A few days ago, ‘Dream Girl‘ director Raaj Shaandilya was tested positive for the virus after being down with fever for 7 days. Earlier, he told a leading daily that it all began 7 days before he got tested for the coronavirus as his fever was not going down.

Raaj who is quite active on social media, took it to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the good news. He wrote, “मित्रों, मैं लड़ा, फिर औऱ लड़ा और लड़ता ही चला गया, इसलिए आज 16 दिन बाद मैंने कोरोना को हरा दिया… कोरोना रिपोर्ट NEGATIVE आयी है.. माता पिता, मेरा परिवार, मेरे डॉक्टर्स, भगवान औऱ आप सब की प्रार्थना के बिना ये असंभव था… आप सभी का बहुत बहुत आभार…राधे राधे #COVID19 #Negative”

Raaj has finally recovered from the novel coronavirus and has tested negative now. He thanked god, his parents, his family, doctors, and his fans for praying for his speedy recovery and it would not have been possible without all of them, he wrote.

Raaj made his debut as a director with film ‘Dream Girl’ wherein Ayushmann Khurrana was in the lead. Apart from directing his first film, Raaj had previously written dialogues for films as well.
