In Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case, actress and the late actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is the prime accused. Sushant’s family had made allegations against Rhea and her family for theft, abetment to suicide, and cheating. The actress in her recent interview with India Today mentioned that SSR was in touch with Dr. Harish Shetty before she met Sushant.

Rhea claimed in her interview that the medicine which Sushant took before his flight to Europe was prescribed by Dr. Harish for his anxiety. According to reports, Harish in his statement said, “While treating or examining any patient, I ask for detailed information from them. During the primary examination, I ask them whether they have any suicidal thoughts. Whether they fear anything or have any kind of phobia. Whether they are getting proper sleep and if their appetite is normal.”

The doctor further added that only after proper questioning, as needed, he prescribes medicines to the patients, and then the patients are also asked to regular follow up visits. If required, he also refers them to other psychiatrists.

Talking about SSR, he said that Sushant visited his clinic in 2014 without an appointment. Sushant couldn’t share all the details but he said that he was suffering from sleeplessness and insomnia and if needed he will come and see him again. Harish recounted, “So, I screened and examined Sushant and didn’t find any serious issues then. For sleeplessness and insomnia, I prescribed some medication and gave him a future date for an appointment.”

However, Sushant didn’t visit him after that day and didn’t even communicated after that for the treatment.
