Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s former manager Disha Salian, passed away on June 8 after reportedly falling off the 14th floor of a building in Mumbai. Her death is now linked to the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor’s alleged suicide.

Social media is filled with several conspiracy theories that have linked Sushant and Disha’s death. BJP MP and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane also alleged that the ‘Raabta’ actor and his former manager were ‘murdered’. His allegations created a stir on social media as Rane claimed that Mumbai Police was trying to save someone.

Now, Disha’s father Satish Salian has filed a complaint with Mumbai Police, accusing the media of tarnishing his daughter’s image. Mr. Salian requested Mumbai Police to take ‘reasonable actions’ against the journalists, influencers and politicians for their ‘insensitive act’ towards his family. He also refuted the rumours of Disha’s rape and murder and said they ‘hold no truth’.

Here is the copy of the complaint :

“I am writing this to you as my family has been continuously harassed by the journalists and media people in relation to the death of my daughter, Disha Salian. News about her involvement with any politician or attending parties with big names of the film fraternity, rape, murder are all the stories cooked by the these media people just to sell to the channels. These stories hold no truth. These are misleading the people and tarnishing my daughter’s reputation and my family’s reputation. These fake news are taking a huge toll on my family’s health and we are being victimized by the media.” He wrote in the complaint.
