After many Bollywood names have surfaced in the Bollywood drug nexus which emerged from the Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, another name was popped up on Tuesday. As per the reports, after Deepika Padukone‘s name was in the spotlight, another name which was making rounds was of former beauty pageant titleholder and actress Dia Mirza.
It was being said that Dia’s manager was a drug peddler Anuj Keshwani’s girlfriend who used to supply drugs to Dia. There were also reports mentioning that Dia Mirza will be summoned soon by the Narcotics Control Bureau as they’ve got the details of drugs purchased by Dia in 2019.
However, refusing the reports and being involved in the NCB’s drug case, the actress Dia Mirza has released a statement clearing out the air. She took it to her social media handle and penned down a post. In the note, she wrote, “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless, and with mala fide intentions.”
She mentioned that such reports have a direct impact on her reputation and are damaging her career which she has built with years of hard work. Adding further, “I have never procured or consumed any narcotics or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law-abiding citizen of India.”
In the end, she thanked her supporters to stand by her side and also mentioned that she’ll take legal actions against the same.
