On Saturday, the Narcotics Control Bureau grilled top Bollywood actresses for their alleged connection with the drug nexus of the industry. Actresses who appeared before the agency on Saturday included Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan. The agency had issued summons to these actresses along with Rakul Preet Singh on Wednesday and while Rakul appeared on September 25 to record her statement, other actresses appeared on September 26.

The actresses were questioned for quite long hours in the NCB office and during the interrogation, every actress either admitted something or revealed shocking details. Deepika Padukone and Rakul Preet Singh admitted chatting about drugs meanwhile Shraddha and Sara admitted partying with Sushant Singh Rajput on his Pavana farmhouse.

In the latest update, TOI has stated in its report that the agency probing the drug angle in SSR’s death case has accepted the ‘Voluntarily Surrender’ of the mobiles of actors Deepika, Shraddha, Sara, and Rakul for a detailed examination.

The portal quoted the sources saying that to validate their submissions made to the NCB, the actresses have voluntarily submitted their mobiles to the agency, and this has been taken on record by investigating officers.

On Saturday, Deepika reached the NCB office before Shraddha and Sara, and she was questioned for nearly 5 hours but the reports suggested that the NCB officials were not satisfied with the response of Deepika and felt her statements were evasive and tutored.
