Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is being investigated by the Narcotics Control Bureau after her WhatsApp drug chats got leaked recently. The actress’ drug chats read her allegedly asking for ‘maal’ from her manager Karishma Prakash. Deepika was issued a summon on Wednesday when the agency issued summons to other actresses as well, and now Deepika will appear before the NCB on Saturday to record her statement.
The WhatsApp drug chats of Deepika from the year 2017 made many headlines and gave a serious shock to her fans and many still don’t believe it to be her for being involved in drugs and other such substances. However, in the latest development of the case, Times Now has quoted NCB sources revealing that Deepika Padukone was allegedly the admin of the WhatsApp group.

The WhatsApp group which is being talked about is the one which featured the chats about ‘maal’. The sources made another revelation to the portal, revealing that Deepika was in constant touch with Karishma and she has blamed her for trying to oblige the requests of celebrities to an extent procure drugs for them.
Deepika Padukone was apparently shooting in Goa, with her co-stars Ananya Pandey and Siddhant Chaturvedi for her upcoming untitled film produced by Karan Johar, when she received the summon to appear before the agency. The actress reached Mumbai last night with her husband and her team.
